Eligibility:
- Must be a full-time student in good standing in their first year of law school at an ABA-accredited law school.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and excellence through life and work experiences.

The #***# 1L Summer Program is designed for students who are committed to an inclusive community and have a strong desire to build their skills for the legal profession. The program runs for 10 weeks and offers a paid opportunity for a first year law student to work in both the Syracuse and Ithaca offices, gaining valuable experience in all areas of the firm's practice. In addition, the student will have the opportunity to participate in firm events and community-wide events, providing valuable networking opportunities.
Eligible candidates must be full-time students in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school and must demonstrate a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and excellence through their life and work experiences. The application process includes submitting a resume, a personal statement highlighting community engagement and contributions to diversity and inclusion, and a fall semester law school transcript. Interviews will be conducted virtually via Zoom, with in-person call backs for selected candidates.
The selected candidate will receive a biweekly salary of $3,461.54 and will have the opportunity to be considered for future employment with #***# through their 2L Summer Associate Program.
