DLA Piper, a leading international law firm, is seeking exceptional law students to join our 2026 summer program in the Tax department. We are looking for candidates with an entrepreneurial mindset, a demonstrated interest in tax, and a related background or education. As a summer associate, you will have the opportunity to work on transactional matters and participate in pro bono work. Our 10-week program also includes in-depth training, feedback and support from a designated team, and social events to build your network.
Essential Job Expectations:
- Effectively communicate with clients, lawyers, and business professionals
- Produce high-quality work product and meet deadlines
- Foster positive work relationships
- Comply with firm policies and practices
- Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, including working at a computer and participating in virtual meetings
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Completion of four semesters of law school prior to the start of the program
Physical Demands: Sedentary work, primarily sitting at a desk
Work Environment: Hybrid, with in-office expectations
Salary Information: In accordance with New York City, Washington, and California's Pay Transparency Law, the expected weekly pay for this position is $4,326.
