The #***# is seeking highly motivated and exceptional law graduates to join their team as Summer Law Clerks in 2027. This is a full-time position that offers a salary of $96,695.28 annually. The law clerkships will be based in Carson City and Las Vegas, providing a unique opportunity to experience the diverse legal landscape of Nevada.
The ideal candidate must have a Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school, with preference given to those in the top 20% of their class. Law review or other journal experience is desirable. The law clerk must possess exceptional legal research and writing abilities, be flexible, and have the motivation to work independently in a fast-paced appellate environment.
As a law clerk, you will work directly with a Justice and assist in processing appeals and writ petitions. Your duties will include legal research, drafting bench memos, preparing orders and opinions, and reviewing documents produced in chambers. You will also have the opportunity to review cases assigned to chambers, handle original petitions and petitions for rehearing, and attend oral arguments.
