Internship Program at the #***# (LOPD)
- Fall internship opportunity in criminal law and courtroom litigation
- Gain exposure to providing holistic representation to indigent clients
- Work directly with attorneys on felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile cases
- Based in Albuquerque office with opportunities at other LOPD offices
- Paired with experienced attorneys to learn court procedures and local practices
- Perform complex legal work, prepare documents, and assist in litigation preparation

- No paid internships, but can earn credit and gain valuable experience
- Accepts students with specialized funding through fellowships or educational institutions
- Ability to advocate for clients in court hearings with minimum requirements met
- Must be familiar with Rules of Professional Conduct and obtain certificate from dean
