The Law Clerk will provide legal support to judges at various levels of the court system, including District, Circuit, Appellate, and Supreme Courts. Salary Information:
- 1st Year Appellate Law Clerk: $68,499
- Non-Bar Member Circuit Court and District Court Law Clerks: $63,119
- Bar Member in any State Circuit Court and District Court Law Clerks: $70,120

Experience Information:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school required
- Prior legal writing experience preferred
Essential Functions:
- Conduct legal research and review motions, court files, and other legal documents
- Draft memoranda and revise work product
- Respond to research questions and provide up-to-date information to judges
- Attend court proceedings as requested by the judge
- Triage and deliver work to the judge's chambers
Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of laws, rules, and court procedures
- Familiarity with general office work and computer hardware/software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to perform legal research and read and understand law-related materials
- Strong writing skills and ability to compose orders and memoranda
- Ability to apply policies, procedures, and laws as required
