Salary: Paid and unpaid internships available

- Mission to advance, defend, and enforce legal rights of vulnerable people
- Serves 48 counties in Tennessee through 8 offices
- Concentrates on 5 main areas of law practice: Family/Immigration, Health & Benefits, Consumer/Tax, Housing/Home Retention, and Employment

Internship Details:
- Available during spring, summer, and fall terms
- Hands-on experience in daily operations of organization
- Work alongside attorneys and staff
- Encourages fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and genuine enthusiasm for non-profit work
- Minimum time commitment of 20 hours per week for summer internships and 10 hours per week for fall and spring internships

Unpaid Internships:
- For experience and/or academic credit

Qualifications:

- Strong dedication to public interest law
- Relevant experience and coursework
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Knowledge of foreign languages considered a beneficial asset
