The Allegheny County District Attorney's Office is offering a unique opportunity for law students interested in public service and criminal law. As a fall certified legal intern, you will have the chance to gain hands-on experience in various units within the Office, including Narcotics.

Fall applications for the program will open on July 1, 2025, and close on August 8, 2025. This is a highly competitive program, so interested students are encouraged to apply early.

As a certified legal intern, you will have the opportunity to appear in court on behalf of the Commonwealth under the direct supervision of an Assistant District Attorney. This may include handling guilty pleas, suppression motions, and non-jury trials. In order to become certified, students must have successfully completed an Evidence course and submit an application for certification, along with a Dean's certification.
