Overview:
- The #***# offers a volunteer Law Clerk program for law students to gain experience in a variety of legal fields.
- Law clerks will have the opportunity to participate in legal research and writing, witness and client interviews, and assist with litigation in Maryland's trial, administrative, and appellate courts.
- The Maryland Attorney General's Office is the largest and most prestigious law firm in the state, handling a wide range of legal matters for the government.
- The Law Clerk Program allows participants to make a difference in their communities by addressing complex legal issues and protecting the interests of the state and its citizens.
Qualifications:
- Law clerks should possess strong legal research and writing skills, effective communication and teamwork abilities, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
- Schedules will be determined based on the division's needs and the clerk's class and extracurricular commitments, with a minimum of 15-20 hours per week.
- Law clerks may be eligible to receive course credit for their work.
