Overview:

The Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Competition is offering a summer internship program for first and second-year law students interested in gaining practical experience in the field of antitrust enforcement. This program provides students with the opportunity to work closely with attorneys, economists, and other investigative staff in a professional and challenging environment. Interns will have the chance to work on a variety of issues and receive comprehensive training to develop their skills and knowledge in antitrust law.

Responsibilities:

- Work closely with attorneys, economists, and other investigative staff on investigations and federal court litigations
- Complete substantive assignments on a wide range of antitrust issues
- Participate in a comprehensive training program
- Develop strong professional relationships with attorneys and economists
- Gain practical experience in the field of antitrust enforcement

Qualifications:

- Must be a first or second-year law student
- Must have a strong interest in antitrust law
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
