Are you a law student looking for a challenging and rewarding summer opportunity? The #***# is currently accepting applications for their Summer Law Clerk Program. This 10-week program provides students with valuable professional and networking opportunities, as well as insight into the roles of attorneys in the public sector.
The selected candidates will have the opportunity to work in one of OSC's Program Offices, depending on their skills, past work experience, and interests. These offices include the Alternative Dispute Resolution Unit, which conducts mediation for selected cases, and serves as experts in negotiation, communication, and settlement. Law clerks in this unit will be involved in all stages of mediation, from determining suitability to assisting OSC neutrals during the process. Candidates must have taken a mediation course or have equivalent experience.
OSC's Law Clerk Program also offers year-round remote and in-person training opportunities for motivated law students. Some volunteer internships may qualify for course credit or as part of a work-study program. Interested students can contact their law schools for specific requirements.
The Summer Law Clerk Program is open to students of all backgrounds and identities, and OSC values diversity and inclusion in their workplace.
