The internship provides a well-rounded experience in the legal field and allows students to gain valuable skills and knowledge.
Interested students must apply directly to the Anticompetitive Practices I division, which is responsible for reviewing applications and conducting interviews. The application period for Fall internships is from late January to early April, while the Spring internship application period is from early September to early November. Interviews are scheduled on a rolling basis, so students are encouraged to submit their applications before the deadline.
When applying, students must include a cover letter, resume, law school transcript, maximum seven-page writing sample, and three academic and/or professional references. The writing sample can be excerpts from a longer sample, and students should contact their law school for specific requirements and details on receiving course credit for the internship.
