The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) offers Fall and Spring semester legal internships to second and third-year law students at its Washington, D.C. offices. The selected interns will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including legal research, witness interviews, and document preparation.
To be eligible for the Fall semester internship, interested students must submit their applications between late January and early April. For the Spring semester internship, applications are accepted from early September to early November. As interviews and offers are given on a rolling basis, students are encouraged to apply early. It is important to note that the internship is unpaid, but students must receive course credit to be able to work in any division. Candidates must also be U.S. citizens to be eligible for employment.
