- Courts and Judicial Affairs Division provides legal services to the Judicial Branch of State government and selected executive agencies.

The Law Clerk Program offers a unique opportunity to perform legal research and writing, participate in interviews, and assist with litigation of claims filed with Maryland's trial, administrative, and appellate courts.
The Maryland Attorney General's Office advises and represents a broad range of clients, including the Court of Appeals, the Court of Special Appeals, and various state agencies. As a law clerk, you will have the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, from state judges to elected Sheriffs. You will also have the opportunity to work with court-related agencies and executive agencies, including the Administrative Office of the Courts and the Attorney Grievance Commission.
