Job Responsibilities:
- Law Clerks will work closely with attorneys in the Office of Policy and International Affairs (PIA) on copyright-related issues.

- Law Clerks are expected to conduct research, writing, and editing tasks related to copyright law and policy.
- Clerks will be assigned to one of several divisions: the Office of the General Counsel (OGC), PIA, the Office of Public Information and Education (PIE), the Copyright Claims Board (CCB), or the Office of Registration Policy and Practice (RPP).
- The program requires a commitment of thirty-five to forty hours per week over the summer or fifteen to twenty hours per week during a fall or spring semester.

Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in or have graduated from a U.S.-accredited law school.
- A significant interest or background in copyright law is required, demonstrated through relevant coursework or other means.
- Applicants should possess strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, and editing skills.

Salary Information:
- The Law Clerk Program is unpaid, but law clerks often receive academic credit through their law school.

Eligibility and Appointment:
- The program seeks highly motivated law students with a demonstrated interest in copyright law.
- Candidates must not hold a conflicting legal or research position simultaneously.
- Law clerks generally serve for ten to thirteen weeks.

Law Clerk Application and Selection Process:
