The Administrative Office of the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia is seeking a Law Student Summer Intern for the Honorable Kenneth D. Ballard. This is a temporary position available from May 2025 to August 2025 with an hourly rate of $15.00. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the legal field and a desire to gain practical experience in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support to Judge Kenneth D. Ballard in the Eighth Judicial Circuit, Kanawha County
- Learn court operations from the inside out
- Gain valuable practical experience
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in law school
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Exercise good judgment and maintain tact, composure, and confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
