I read my writing sample again the other day. I hope they appreciate dad jokes, because mine was punny as hell.OneHandedEconomist wrote:(gets in on quality of LSAT writing sample)

Sounds like the number going to faculty is holding relatively constant while the number of apps are going up. Might be even lower than 19% this year (they were at 2900+ applications based on Asha's tweet).Monday wrote:More recent post says 20%. In an informational webinar, she said 19% (with 1% presumptive admits).OneHandedEconomist wrote: Damn only 25% go to faculty?

If I were a faculty reviewer and I found someone who had the energy and good humor to make hilarious dad puns on the silly writing sample after taking the LSAT, they'd get an immediate top score from me.Pozzo wrote:I read my writing sample again the other day. Are the rejections that are being posted now residuals from last night, or new rejections?

+1. I expect we will be seeing a tweet or blog post from Asha about this shortly.OneHandedEconomist wrote:I would reject anyone who chose Hilltop.AndromedaGalaxy wrote:If I were a faculty reviewer and I found someone who had the energy and good humor to make hilarious dad puns on the silly writing sample after taking the LSAT, they'd get an immediate top score from me.Pozzo wrote:I read my writing sample again the other day. It looks like all rejects yesterday were either below the LSAT median or GPA median.

TBH as each day passes I'm getting increasingly worried that my mom is going to make a twitter account and start pulling a Cretin on Asha and peppering her with thoughts, feelings, and questionsOneHandedEconomist wrote:Lol I'll pay someone 5 bucks to tweet this at herbig_willy_style_333 wrote:+1. I'm actually surprised more people don't tweet with her. She seems pretty easygoing responding to folks. I mean, she stopped responding to all of Cretin's questions, but she's seemed more than happy to respond to my silly tweets.guppiesbaby wrote:TBH as each day passes I'm getting increasingly worried that my mom is going to make a twitter account and start pulling a Cretin on Asha and peppering her with thoughts, feelings, and questionsOneHandedEconomist wrote:Lol I'll pay someone 5 bucks to tweet this at herbig_willy_style_333 wrote:+1. Haha definitely. I mean I'm actually a fully fledged adult and she's behaved well for the past 6 months but even she is starting to lose it over this protracted silence. She also discovered LSN but doesn't really know how to use it (she like checks the graphs and clicks on the dots to see when new people are admitted??) and maybe I should be a good child and tell her she should just look at the applicants tab but....I haven't.OneHandedEconomist wrote:

Also I was 98% kidding about her bugging Asha on twitter............... I HOPE

I think the immediate question on all our minds is, "Hilltop or Carlene, and is the wrong answer a ding?"chandhi wrote:I didn't apply and she's shared my photo before.anonperson2017 wrote:I think it's time for that one ambitious person on twitter to start gathering more info from Asha

I mean, if I had something legit to ask her on twitter, I'd probably do it. It's just that there's not much legit stuff to ask, because either it's A) somewhere on the YLS website and you can do your due diligence to find it or B) a question that she's not gonna answer (such as, why are you torturing me and when am I gonna get my decision)

ehh, i don't know. based on her previous tweets, i wouldn't be surprised if she gave some information in response to a question about the timing of the next wave.pretzeltime wrote:I mean, if I had something legit to ask her on twitter, I'd probably do it.
