(Meaning two real sections and the "experimental.") After the break I'm doing section 4 and it's like I feel my brain slowing down; reading and logical thinking are becoming more tedious, but I push through and finish that section well.
Then section 5, logic games. It's like I'm running through molasses. Reading is hard, my vision was slightly blurry, deductions aren't coming to me, I can't see the structure of the games. Games 2-4 feel nonstandard. I tried closing my eyes to settle myself, but I still couldn't think clearly. I might have been headed for a 177+ before games but now I might drop into the 160s.
I don't get it. My breakfast didn't change, I ate and drank during the break, and this has never happened to me before. My stamina has always been fine. I don't know what the hell just happened, how to prevent it in the future, or how to correct it on test day if it resurfaces.
You gotta take a few days of nothing LSAT related (that includes TLS).
Yea man this. Worked for me. Literally like hitting the reset button. It's like mind steroids.
Take the weekend. Don't do shit. Go get drunk and laid (on a kayak), eat a big steak and mashed potatoes with your boys, and do something...anything...other than this shit for two fucking whole days. I promise, you won't regret it.
tbh I don't even know if it's worth taking full PTs under proper testing conditions all that often. I take and review individual sections pretty often, but for my last LSAT I think I only did about ~9 proper PTs as part of my prep and I ended up with a 172. Could just be my personal preference, but im skeptical about how much short-term "stamina building" a person needs to do. Not doing full PTs has kept me completely free from burnout.
Agreed ^^^ I do maybe 1-2 full PT per week whereas I know most people average 3. I feel no need to "build stamina." I just use them to gauge where my scores are falling.

This score was a personal best for only have 2 lucky guesses:
LG -2
LR -11
RC -7
^^^ RC still screwing me. I spent 2 days this week doing nothing but RC and things just aren't clicking.
My worst QTs are role and organization, which should be easy. Does anyone have any tips??? Drills that worked for you or blog posts I should read?
I'm thinking I have time to do another 2-day RC binge next week along with balancing enough drilling of my other sections + 3 PTS
Happy MDW everyone!!! Hope we can all find time to have a drink and relax at some point

Congrats on the 166 duder! That upward trend line feels good amirite???

I'm actually not positive but I saw Pretzel type it and I like it. I think it just means the equivalent of a long, drawn-out sigh.
Haha yep I don't know the origing but it's like "womp womp" like some disappointing sound effect

See I'm in the opposite camp! I think building stamina is huge for me. I typically do 6 section practice tests. Because now even if I'm having a bad day or didnt eat properly and my vision is graying I can still force myself to beast through the last section or two and do really well.
I could not have done that for December.
That being said I'm all for taking breaks and tbh lmayo your score is prob not gonna go up in the next week by forcing yourself to keep pounding it. But your score MIGHT go up if you take a break, rest, indulge in something you like. So dew it.
ETA: insert disclaimer about how my advice just pertains to me personally and everyone is different and also I'm fer sure not an expert, obvs

I'm completely unfamiliar with this brand. Is it good good, or just good as far as low-cal goes?

You're not taking the thing in June, right?
And by the thing I mean the LSAT
Nah already took three times and liked my third score enough to apply. I going to lawl school this fall.
Where are ya going? You're too hard to lurk because of how chatty you are lel
Columbia! Unless I get into H (waitlisted)
Haha @pretzel about my Peaky appearance. Thats what us blinders do ;P im taking in september so more active in that group, but started looking at this topic too.
And sounds like a Wetzel Pretzel diet is the key to crushing the LSAT and getting into top 5? Might have to add that into my macros

yeah if there's anything I've learned from half a year of LSAT prep, it's that pretzels are the key to success

PT73
RC -4
RC -2 (Experimental - PT A)
LR1 -4
LG -2
LR2 -2
Overal -12 for a 170.
Really surprised, only my second time breaking into the 170s. Took this test like 7 months ago for the December test and didn't remember more than 1 or 2 questions.
I thought the RC and LR2 really wrecked me and it actually turned out fine, which is weird. Could've sworn I got like a 166 on this, but was pleasantly surprised. If I get 169+ on the real one I'd go crazy.

I think it's good good. It tastes 80% like regular ice cream to me. Lots of flavor, good texture (once you let it warm up for like 10 minutes or so, I wouldn't eat it directly out of the freezer). It also has 24g of protein per pint, which is pretty dope for someone who's lifting/cutting.

Idk how any of you study at night after work. It causes my scores to drop significantly. PT scores used to drop at least 10 points compared to weekends and I just tried to do an RC drill and had to stop in the middle because I read an entire passage without absorbing any information

Worst case scenario for me is an experimental RC and the real RC in section 5 aka when I'm tired, uninspired, and want to GTFO.
ALSO, what is everyone's morning of routine going to be for Monday? :3
