Would those getting calls post their submission dates/completion dates? :p Numbers aren't as interesting to me yet, but I would like to be calmed by knowing admissions are going along on a normal schedule haha.

Submitted in mid-October, don't recall exactly when I was complete but I think it was within a week.

Re: Stanford Law School c/o 2018 Applicants (2014-2015 Cycle)
Thanks for the information. I emailed them today so at the very least I should get some explanation.slurpy wrote:Stanford does require study abroad transcripts, even when LSAC doesn't. Check on their website's application requirements page for details about that. However, I got my status checker before they received my study abroad transcript, so I don't know that that's what is holding it up.ub3r wrote:I received an email from Stanford the day I applied (Jan. 7) acknowledging that I did so. But since then, I haven't heard anything from them and they haven't even given me a status checker.
That's weird, right? It's been nearly 3 calendar weeks.
Columbia did the same thing to me, and I found out today that they were waiting for a transcript from my semester abroad (which is an issue on its own, but I didn't know they were waiting for it and I'm taking steps to fix it). Schools like Harvard, NYU, and Berkeley are already processing my application, so on some level it must be complete.
I guess my question for this thread is: has anyone not received an "application complete" confirmation within two weeks of applying? And does anyone know if Stanford has special rules about secondary transcripts or something?

Congrats new admits!
Meanwhile, I have gotten my status checker. My status is UR 1/18, so it looks like they have been completing and reviewing all of our status check nevers files, but just not sending us the SC.

Just got an email with my status checker information.
They received my app 1/8/15, and it says I was submitted for review 1/17/15. Woooooo!

Adding on to this, I emailed the admissions people a few days after submitting about something unrelated and they told me that my file had already gone complete and was up for review. I still haven't received any sort of complete/status checker email but it seems like there's movement even without confirmation.leslieknope wrote:Congrats new admits!

I'm 1/7/15 and 1/17/15. Guess we're application triplets. Good luck!mujiali wrote:Exact same dates for both here.ErgoSum wrote:Just got an email with my status checker information.

I'd definitely be willing to do it (knowledge of the school = hella good, thread-making abilities = not so good) but if bagel wants to, they definitely should.psychmusic wrote:Congrats to the new admits! Now who's going to take the plunge and make an accepted students thread? I my vote to everything_bagel as the OP of the current thread. I've been toying with trying but my thread-making abilities and knowledge of the school are seriously sub-par

Please, someone...someone who's not CC (I cannot tell you how awful a thread I created would look).psychmusic wrote:Congrats to the new admits!
