Francis, I hear ya. It's especially weird because everything else is capitalized (i.e. Learn, Experience, Visit) and then there's this little "asd" trailing along at the bottom.

There is now a tab on my account for "asd" --admitted students' day anyone?

and it leads only to a stock picture of a butte. It's almost the same picture as the first google result when you use the search term "butte."

Why, Columbia? Why do you think that is funny?

Edited for typo**
Wow yeah this is strange. Just went to check it out; the funny and odd little 'asd' without capitalisations' just there linking to slideshow showing buttes (had to check out what a 'butte' was btw)

Cruel, cruel CLS, sending out false hope as Season's Greetings

I missed it, but google'd a picture of a 'butte' and now am super confused... Seems like such a random slip.

Any votes on when the bulk of ED decisions will start to come out? Someone mentioned that the office is closing for break on the 18th, but I really hope that isn't the case...

In last year's thread there were some decisions out December 23rd and the closing date was also listed as December 18th, so I don't think it's indicative of a decision timeline

First post in this thread -- applied ED and today received an invite to interview. Interviewing tomorrow morning.

Anyone have any insights on the interview here? I can't find anything online about the kind of questions they will be asking or what kind of interview it will be. Any insight would be much appreciated!

Also - CONGRATULATIONS to all you EDers who have gotten in so far. Hope to join you :)

Et- you mind chiming in for anon?

Does Columbia's status checker change after going complete? I'm still at complete, RD.

I don't think it ever changes. At some point I guess we get an email to invite us to interview or snail mail giving a decision.

What is considered complete at Columbia? My status checker has marked everything has received since 12/1, but it still says "Completion Pending," at the bottom. When should this actually be complete?

Hey there, I submitted my application in late Sept, but went complete in late October because I took the Sept LSAT and the scores were released in late October. Did you take the December LSAT? Then it will go complete after they receive your score. If not, I'm not sure what's going on seeing as how apps to CLS goes complete rather fast

Thanks for the reply! I did not take the December LSAT, nor did I indicate that I would be taking it. I guess if it's not complete by Monday (three weeks) I'll call to see if I'm missing something.

I've been "Completion Pending" since 12/1 also, even though everything is checked off. I'm just assuming they're a little overwhelmed with apps or are focusing on different things right now.

Oh if everyone else's had gone slowly, I must have been reading off the wrong spreadsheet. Sorry, maybe CLS does have a slow turnaround :( . Perhaps it's because they're just finalising ED applicants
