It just seems like political dispositions very obviously color some people's opinions on things, which is fine until the arguments devolve into something that really isn't very law-related. I guess that would be what I consider a gunner (though not necessarily gunning for grades). It's really not that bad at all in my class, but people definitely seem to get more riled up/confrontational in conlaw more than any other class I've had.
See, e.g. the ACA case.
yeah, i never really understood when people brought up arguments (opinions, really) that weren't grounded in the law. it's laughable how little it contributes to the discussion.

Doc. says it's strep., so I can't go to class today. But, after the hell of yesterday, I feel well enough to O / L and read today. If only every day set up this kind of opportunity, lol.
Almost halfway through men. CSWS

Yup. I think it'll be a good summer, give me stuff to talk about for OCI, dig me deeper into debt, all that good stuff.

You'll get one soon. You're at an awesome school and will have good options (by which I mean something legal, which as everyone keeps telling me is all that matters).

I hope so. This semester is making me bitter and pessimistic, lol

Very true. It's paid, and I don't have to worry about housing.

Plus, you can turn your attention to your classes and not have to keep spamming employers along with every other 1L without a job.

Absolutely. Catching up in my readings and working on outlines.
What do you guys think is the best time to start PTs this time around? I was thinking the beginning of April, with outlining hopefully done over spring break and updated as needed.

F*ckity F*ck. I was a hair away from the next highest grade in Torts, the exam in which my Examsoft crashed midway, requiring me to handwrite part of my response.
Torts prof:
I took a look at your exam and see that you earned a strong “B” grade. You were fairly close to the B+ line. You had a very strong grade (14 /15) on the multiple choice, which was 20% of the final score. Your essay scores were quite consistent and in the solid to strong B range. That indicates that you have studied well, you knew the underlying substantive law and you are able to organize your answer in a logical manner.
Back to tha grind, cuz money on ma mind! (not a ton of $ since I'm a prosecution gunner, tho

Was wondering the same thing. More compact schedule this time around. I was planning on *starting* my outlining during Spring Break, but I guess that doesn't preclude me from PTing the beginning of April either.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
