I don't know if I should be optimistic. Unless one has really good numbers, it looks like an update this late would mean a Reserve/WL/Ding

I know what you mean, but, if past trends continue (noting that we know a number of people have withdrawn from Cornell for various reasons), I would suspect there will be the usual mix of acceptances, WLs, and dings. Not only has that appeared to have been the case most of this cycle, but the '09-'10 graph shows continued acceptances through May.

Here's to hoping lots of us get admitted.

I got put on "reserve" I don't know when but got accepted in mid June. I kinda thought cornell admissions was always notorious for being slow.

Yep, I think I updated 02/03 -> 03/12 -> 03/29 -> 03/30, then the admit e-mail around 1:30 PM.
