Harvard JR1 but no JR2 (yet?) Club Forum

So am I literally the ONLY person on TLS with a pre-11/15 JR1 who has not been held or accepted?! I know Core is close too.

Not the only...I am with you...JR1 - 11/03 & Submit date- 10/15 ...No news at all.

I think it's still too early for them to hold our batch. Looks like the latest person who has submitted and been held submitted on 10/1.

So, everyone who heard back this week submitted before 10/01?

Anyone care to validate this?

No. I submitted mid-October, had a November JR1 and was held.

Hey guys,

It looks like all of us have been pretty much held (besides Core and Crack)...

Do you guys think JR really gave all of our applications another look last week/ after New Years before sending out the Hold e-mails. It seems pretty impossible to do, considering the large number of holds...

What do you guys think?

Cool, so is it only the three of us (you, Core, me) whose apps are still pending despite a pre-Christmas JR1? I sort of assume there are a few others with December JR1s who haven't heard. Anyone other than Core and myself with an October/November JR1 still waiting?

I had a pre-Christmas JR1 (12/22) and am still waiting. No JR2 yesterday, no hold email yet. I submitted in late October.

Held via e-mail today. A bit disappointed, but beats a WL or rejection.
Submitted 10/17, under review since 10/23, and had a JR1 just before Thanksgiving. This is a bad sign, but this may be related to my <25% LSAT + URM status (URMs with lower-than-median numbers usually have slow cycles, I'm told).

I'm still here too, for now. Today someone who went UR 11/4 (the day after me) and went complete 11/19 (same day as me) was held, while I lived to die another day. So far everyone I've seen who's received a hold email submitted 10/27 or earlier though, and I submitted 10/28.
