Anyone care to validate this?

Re: Harvard JR1 but no JR2 (yet?) Club
Hey guys,
It looks like all of us have been pretty much held (besides Core and Crack)...
Do you guys think JR really gave all of our applications another look last week/ after New Years before sending out the Hold e-mails. It seems pretty impossible to do, considering the large number of holds...
What do you guys think?

I'm in the same lonely boat as Core and Crack. I'll likely go insane if I try to figure out why (anymore than I already have).

I know you've mentioned it in this thread before aussie, but when did you submit/go UR/have your JR1?aussie3b wrote:I'm in the same lonely boat as Core and Crack. I'll likely go insane if I try to figure out why (anymore than I already have).

Cool, so is it only the three of us (you, Core, me) whose apps are still pending despite a pre-Christmas JR1? I sort of assume there are a few others with December JR1s who haven't heard. Anyone other than Core and myself with an October/November JR1 still waiting?aussie3b wrote:Later than you guys (I think):

I had a pre-Christmas JR1 (12/22) and am still waiting. No JR2 yesterday, no hold email yet. I submitted in late October.crackberry wrote:Cool, so is it only the three of us (you, Core, me) whose apps are still pending despite a pre-Christmas JR1? Held via e-mail today. A bit disappointed, but beats a WL or rejection.
Submitted 10/17, under review since 10/23, and had a JR1 just before Thanksgiving. This is a bad sign, but this may be related to my <25% LSAT + URM status (URMs with lower-than-median numbers usually have slow cycles, I'm told).

And then ... there was just me. Great. I'm thinking about contacting them. This is getting absurd. I think I'll wait for one more round of JR2s but seriously, come on.Core wrote:Held via e-mail today. A bit disappointed, but beats a WL or rejection.

I'm still here too, for now. Today someone who went UR 11/4 (the day after me) and went complete 11/19 (same day as me) was held, while I lived to die another day. So far everyone I've seen who's received a hold email submitted 10/27 or earlier though, and I submitted 10/28.
So as for my hold email, well ...

True, there are a couple of others, but when Core got held, I think it left me as the only one with any September/early October dates in their file.aussie3b wrote:I"m still here with you crack...but this thread is getting very lonely.

Eh, 99 percent sure I would've taken Stanford over Harvard anyway so I'm not too broken up about it.psychomohel wrote:Sorry to hear that.crackberry wrote:Finally held today, guys. Don't know why on earth it took so long.
Thanks for the condolences though.
