Did you apply to ACOE during OCI, or through their mailbox? I haven't heard anything from them at all since submitting my materials.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 11:39 am
Qualified for USACE as well. Ive read that regional offices usually do not reach out for interviews until spring. But here's to hoping that one bucks the trend!

Anyone received any updates on IRS? Turned in my app before the final deadline but after the second deadline (so between Sep 3 and Sep 30). Application status still says referred to management.

Has anyone received any communication from the DOL saying they *aren't* still being considered? I assume I'm out of luck, with some of the positive emails going out last week, but I'd like to be able to put this chapter behind me lol

Any updates on IRS? My status still says referred to management. Applied about 20 days before final deadline. Just wondering if I should still have hope.

Interesting. I only applied for the DC office and didn't receive an email. I think my interview went really well, so I wonder if maybe they only sent it out to folks who applied for both regional and DC? Always possible that I just misjudged.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Tue Dec 01, 2020 12:26 amI received a DOL email from DC last week re I’m under active consideration for regional position and to rank my preferences. I was also asked to confirm that I was still interested in a DC position.

I heard last night at around 8:30 PM (EST) that I was in active consideration for a regional position. So I don't know that you can necessarily assume that you're out based on not hearing anything yet.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Wed Dec 02, 2020 4:10 pmHas anyone received any communication from the DOL saying they *aren't* still being considered? Got a weird one here. I applied to FLRA Honors and never got an interview. Just got two emails this morning - one telling me I'd been rejected for the position, and another saying I'd been selected. Anyone else in the same boat?

Just got my official interview time today.

That's much bigger than I thought (if still the same or similar). Yeah, it's possible they have multiple days or something. Thanks for the answer. Good luck!
Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 9:57 amHey there- Congrats! Glad to hear of someone else on here. I did get that email with six time slots. I'm not sure what exactly that means, could be, but also may just be that they gave certain options to certain people? I heard from someone that 2 years ago they hired 10-12 people and that generally they have a bigger hiring class. Not sure how much that has changed.
mbriglia wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19, 2020 10:14 pmI heard back about a second interview with NSA as well. Did you get the email with the six timeslots listed? Does this mean there are six people with second interviews..? And do you have any idea how many are being hired?

What do you all think about sending follow up emails if you've heard nothing since your initial application in Sept/Oct?
I applied to FTC (Bureau of Competition) directly via a recruiter's email and to CFPB through USA Jobs, but have heard nothing from either. For CFPB, USA Jobs says "Reviewed" but no determination made, and the linked CFPB portal says "referred to subject matter expert for review". Been like this for at least a month. I know one person on here got an interview for CFPB, but not sure what else is going on. Anybody else?

I followed up with FTC on 11/10 and got the following response this Monday: "I’m sorry but we do not have any open positions at this time. You should certainly feel free to apply in the future and keep looking at USA Jobs."Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 6:01 pmWhat do you all think about sending follow up emails if you've heard nothing since your initial application in Sept/Oct?

No, I meant the FLRA. They had an application period for their entry-level hiring back in June, job posting DE-10831212-20-PMC, but you're right that they call you a clerk instead of an Honors hire.Anonymous User wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 1:41 pmDo you mean NLRB? I followed up with their HR and it looks like I was not chosen - the fact that they sent two emails out was a mistake.
