enjoy your black on black.
you will look like a vast, empty void, an apt metaphor for your life.

At UT the law school graduates don't wear caps and gowns. White/khaki/seersucker suits and sunflowers. I had mixed feelings about it, but was way happier than if I'd had to buy a cap and gown.

I know Columbia doesn't make you pay the rental on your grad attire unless you fill out the order form way late.
I'm all for the classic experience because I want to feel like a wizard for the day and opportunities for that are few and far between.

I keep tellin my SO that she's gonna have to call me "Dr. Hymen", just to infuriate her. She blows up, "you're not a real doctor".

They told us the price to buy it for yourself if you miss the deadline or forget to return it in time is $800 dollars or so.

One professor at graduation had a sweet looking furry red and white thing on his gown, but I have no idea the story behind it.

the columbia robes actually are very pretty compared to a lot of other schools. you still look ridiculous due to sizing, but the colors are really nice.

One of my professors at graduation had these striking black and green robes. Why does she have these robes when, like most t14 profs, she went to the same schools they all generally did?
"Because I looked up different robe colors and I liked these colors the best. Who's gonna stop me?"
