I know this is a thread resurrection, but there is a countdown timer on the USNEWS rankings page as of today. It indicates 28 days, 23 hours until the new graduate school rankings come out. Thus, they will be coming out at 12:00 AM on April 15. So, all those prestige-obsessed persons with April 15 postmark deadlines for deposits can find out exactly where their school is ranked before mailing it in.

I wonder if they'll be leaked the week before or anything.

leaked rankings season is the best time of the year. Last year a series of leakers emerged, most quickly discredited but not before causing a wave of emotions over everyone applying. One set came out that quickly convinced me. This set was then confirmed during the Opera Soprano adventure. May she be blessed.

word leaked that the first prints were being sold at penn station. opera took a cab there while her roommate updated her progress on TLS. the world held it's breath. she eventually got a copy and took a photo via blackberry. the rest is history..

edit: the first leak wasn't Mandlebaum, rather 2 days earlier in this thread http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... =1&t=69124 some (now deleted) poster offered a low quality scan of what turned out to be the new rankings. After seeing the official version it was clear the leak was an earlier print version of the finalized rankings. I really was really happy to see GW plummet 10 spots.

Thank you! I passed through Penn Station yesterday, but alas, no rankings. They've wised up, or maybe just decided to forgo the free publicity of an early newsstand release in order to make us pay for the privilege.
