Law School Acceptance/Rejection Notification Methods Forum

If there's already a post out there with this info - please point me in the right direction. I'm interested to know how I should expect to receive notification of acceptance/rejection from different schools, so I figured this might be a good forum to let people know how you were notified.

So if you've already been accepted/rejected - please respond and let me know how - phone call, email, snail-mail or the seemingly worthless status checker...

Also - include scholarship info if you have any.

My contribution:
UCLA - Accepted - Phone call followed by an email a week and a half later...supposedly the package is in the mail but they mentioned "system issues" and that the package may be delayed.
BU - Accepted w/$ - Phone call followed by a package in the mail with acceptance letter and scholarship offer.

I agree with whoever said that big list is useless for this cycle. Should almost be taken down. I know for a fact some of those are inaccurate.

You list Baylor as being email then snail mail. They only do snail mail - they even have a little blurb on their status checker about not giving out admissions decisions via email or phone. I don't know if this is a recent change but you might want to edit the original post. I have a letter from Baylor waiting for me right now at my parent's house and I can't get to it for another week!!

Some schools (Hastings, for example), send you a single page latter in a standard envelope . . . definitely looks like a rejection at first glance. However, you find a nice surprise when you open what you thought was a rejection letter

Cornell seems to e-mail acceptances now. Also Mizzou acceptance is via phone call.

William and Mary: Status Checker said "Congrats", followed by email a few hours later, followed by call a few days later.
Baylor: Send a big letter in mail. Scholarship offer was in initial packet.

William & Mary: phone call from Dean Shealy followed by snail mail
Cincinnati: email and promise of snail mail (has not yet arrived)

I also know indirectly that Harvard has been emailing invitations to interview (JS1) and conducting those interviews, but has not yet begun offering admissions via phone call (JS2), which is the anticipated next step. UVA has been offering admissions via phone call and issuing W/L and R via email.
