Last year looks like from LSN they alternated accept rounds and reject rounds:

Doesn't mean they'll do that this year, though.

Well-played, though a Nashville Skyline lyric would have been even better. "What's lost is lost"?

They say that you're planning to put me down
All I would like you to do
Is tell me that it isn't true."
Or, perhaps "Dear adcom, please don't put a price on my soul." ?

Interesting. Looks like a wave of each every week for about a month and a half starting in early/mid January. It also appears that last years first round of admits was larger, so hopefully this next round will make up for it!NayBoer wrote:Last year looks like from LSN they alternated accept rounds and reject rounds:

Man, I wish they'd do some more today. I could really use some good news after 3 rejections this week.

Re: Northwestern 2010
So I've been trying to get my Northwestern Interview done for months, but my interviewer is obviously the busiest person in existence. We scheduled back in November for mid-December, which turned into January 12th, which became Jan 18th, which he is now asking if it can be the 21st. Should I just call Northwestern up and see if they can place me with someone else? Because I feel like this guy's stalling is hurting what little chance I have at admission.

Re: Northwestern 2010
my complete date switched from legit Nov. 16 to a date in early December. With other schools, an updated complete date just means someone opened your folder and saved it... not sure what it means here, but I'm hoping they calculate my notification by that original date.Dignan wrote:So, my original complete date was November 19. Then, at some point today, my complete date changed again to January 14. Does anyone know what might be happening?

Re: Northwestern 2010
well no matter how early you were completed before dec, everyone starts at Dec 1, and then the 8 week period begins. if your compete date is still early december, the 8 week period wouldn't be that delayed, and you'll still hear back in February.elliefont wrote:my complete date switched from legit Nov. 16 to a date in early December. still at least something is going on with your application. mines been frozen from the start and even an interview didn't change anything it seems...
