I'm an African-American male and I received a 2.7 from a presitigious liberal arts college. (I took Japanese and Economics and those four courses destroyed me. When you do that bad it's just sometimes impossible to make a comeback.)
Anyways, fortunately I got my shit together after my rising-senior summer and I refused to be unemployed after graduation. I was offered a position as a corporate paralegal at a V2 firm and that's where I currently work now. So, yeah, either Cravath or Wachtell, I'd just rather not say.
I haven't taken the LSATs but let's assume that I can get a 170 (I'm going to study for an entire year and try to do 2 hours a day; law is something I really want to do and I'm committing myself fully to it; I got high 13s on SAT) what are my chances at GULC, Northwestern, U Chicago, NYU, UVA and Michigan? I hear that those are the most splitter friendly schools. And also represent the places I'd most like to spend three years (midwest, mid-atlantic, NYC.)
Hopefully I'm going to get some great recommendations from partners and associates. Also, I was an English major and I won a lot of departmental awards and I wrote a creative writing senior thesis so I'm pretty confident that I can write a killer personal statement. Add this all up and please chance me at the aforementioned schools. Thanks so much, folks. Any advice you can help is great. I literally lose sleep because I'm haunted by my shit performance in UG.

maybe NU, they are friendlier to low gpas. i'd apply to Cornell as well if I were you.
not much to go by on LSN, if you can score above 170 every point counts a ton.
I wouldn't place too much hope on NYU/chicago

SAT/LSAT are not correlated that well.
Get a 170 and then come back. If not, you should be look at the mid 50s

Numbers twin! Almost!
2.7 AA male with a 168 LSAT and retaking in Sept. I'll let you know how I score and how my cycle goes. I hoping for 176+ and Chicago ED. We'll see.
