What are my law school acceptance chances?

Post by Luxetumbra11 » Fri Jun 05, 2020 10:55 pm

I have a B.A. in Classics from UC Berkeley with a 3.69 GPA (Ancient Greek and Latin tanked my GPA over the years) and I just scored a 170 on my first LSAT. Do I have a shot at some of the top law schools?

HYS are probably out, and Columbia/Chicago on the unlikely side, but you're competitive everywhere else and I'd expect you to get decent scholarship offers at one or two T14s. If your career goals accord with strong regionals like UCLA then those could also be very strong options.

Unless you think you overperformed for the 170, I'd consider retaking the LSAT. A 172-3 or better would make scholarship money flow more freely and bring more of the T6 into play.
