145 LSAT & 3.42 GPA
I live in NYC and only applying to law schools located in NY state for Fall 2020. My top law school choices are CUNY Law, Albany Law, and Pace Law. With a 3.42 GPA, a Master's Degree, and 2+ years of full-time work experience at a non-profit organization, what are the realistic chances of getting accepted to any of these schools? Any advice or feedback would be appreciated. ***Note that I will be retaking the LSAT come February 2020.

Don't do anything with a 145. Or the schools that you listed, period. It's not gonna be worth it.

Do not go to any law school that would accept you with a 145.

It's pretty simple. You need to improve your LSAT by at least 15 points. There is no "trick" to getting into any of these schools. Just crush the LSAT.

Re: 145 LSAT & 3.42 GPA
The schools you listed all have median LSAT in the 150s, and the lowest 25%ile for them is 149 (Pace and CUNY part-time); CUNY full-time and Albany have 25%ile of 151. Your GPA is within the interquartile range for these schools---specifically, between median and 75%ile---and your softs are good, but with a 145, it hardly matters. Absent truly exceptional circumstances, you don't have a good chance of admission at any of these schools unless your score improves. Best of luck with the retake! Even a modest improvement would significantly increase your chances.
