Hello. Stressed out over here.
I took the lsat twice and struggle with anxiety, being able to PT around 170 but only getting 162 both times. I don't plan on taking it a third time.
I do have a 3.99 from a pretty solid mid sized private university, and I'm very involved with clubs and internships. I also h ve 4 strong rec letters and all of that stuff.
And, I have a lot of legacy at Penn in my family.
I am considering applying ED to Penn or Georgetown. Other schools on my list are UChicago, GW, America, Fordham, Boston College, Columbia, and NYU. Do I have a good shot at Penn if I ED with that legacy? It's rough because my GPA is good but my LSAT is a huge ding.

Re: Chances: 162/3.99
You’re actually not a total dead letter if you ED at Penn (thanks to your GPA; legacy status means little unless your uncle’s been endowing professorships or something) but you’re almost certain to get zero tuition assistance if you go that route.
If I were you I’d get the anxiety under control, then retake the LSAT, then apply to law school on the best terms possible. If your test issues are costing you 8 points on the LSAT then they’re going to hurt you in law-school exams as well, and being $300k in debt is going to really make that situation acute.

Just retake the LSAT, don't waste a 3.99 GPA on a 162, Jesus
