3.8 GPA, 168 LSAT

Post by Tjam123 » Thu Aug 22, 2019 11:21 pm

Non URM, good softs and recs.

Three questions:

1. What are the best schools at which I have a reasonable chance of admission?

2. What are the best schools that might offer considerable scholarships?

3. What are the best schools that might give full scholarships?

I had a 3.7x and a 168 when I applied as a K-JD in the 17-18 cycle. $75k from Georgetown, $150k from WashU, and $135k from Fordham. WLs and rejects from everywhere else.

You have a reasonable chance of admission at some of the lower-ranked T14 schools (Cornell and GULC especially, where your LSAT hits median, but Northwestern or whatever wouldn't be a huge surprise). Solid chance at scholarships in the T20-30 range.

"Best school" to give you a full ride depends on where you want to practice law and what you want to do - probably a T1 in the region you want to practice non-biglaw.
