Two years of paralegal work experience, essentially no extracurriculars of substance during undergrad. I give my personal statement a 7/10 — I’m a good writer. What do you figure my chances are of admission and/or scholarship money? I will be submitting applications before January 1.
My goal is big law litigation in NYC.
Thanks.

Your numbers will 100% determine your cycle. MyLSN says good shot (75%) of Columbia/NYU. Highly unlikely to receive more then marginal scholarship money at either unfortunately.

I have no real facts to base this opinion off, but I feel like your chances are solid for at least one of them, depending on how many more 175+s there are, since there's apparently a lot more this cycle.Huckleberry_Finn wrote:Two years of paralegal work experience, essentially no extracurriculars of substance during undergrad. But even if those don't work out, you should get multiple of Penn/UVA/Michigan/Duke and can easily make it back to NYC after!
