4.1 GPA 170 LSAT
Graduated from a competitive private liberal arts college, studied abroad at Cambridge for a year, got honours on a thesis very relevant to legal language interpretations, and worked on Wall Street for a bit. My LSAT puts me below average at the schools I'm interested in and was wondering what odds would be / if retaking is worth it?

Decent shot w/ a 170, BUT you're leaving money on the table. Retake. 2-3 points puts you in much stronger territory for CCN and H. Y&S still pretty black box. But 4-5 points and you are looking at very significant money. There's no real downside to retaking. Unless you were PTing at a 155 and 170 was a miracle, you really have nothing to lose by retaking.

4.1 from a top LC opens up a lot of unicorn career options that a law degree will close. I realize some people always wanted to go to law school, but it's always weird to me that someone would choose the career when they are in a position to do virtually anything.
Maybe that's just the bar prep talking.

That GPA is extra nice. To really make it pay off, retake and push for a 173, 174, something in that range. Those few points will make a huge difference in your outcomes.
