Native Am 160 LSAT 3.6 GPA Top 14 chances

Post by truelove244 » Wed Jan 04, 2017 7:50 pm

Retook the LSAT only scored a point higher. Now I'm deciding what schools to apply to. Had originally thought I'd blanket the Top 14. Now I'm still hoping to have some sort of chance at Vanderbilt or UT austin. So my question is what schools do I still have a legitimate chance at. Feel like I have a great personal and diversity statement that emphasizes soft factors. Is it even worth applying to any of the top 14 schools?

Not good. Softs usually aren't enough to get you over that bump (short of winning the Nobel Prize or inventing Uber). I'd strongly advise retaking. There are guides here to get you over the plateau you're seemingly at. The LSAT is incredibly learnable and with a strong work ethic, you can do very well and have a great cycle in 2017-2018.
