Did you check mylsn or just not like the answer? I checked: almost 0% shot at any t14, could actually find yourself on the WL at WUSTL (but may get in), and may get close to a half scholarship from GW.

I checked. Hated what I saw. But a 167 seems to open doors w/Georgetown. At least that's what it seems...

a 167 is median at GULC (and Cornell). It is likely a number they want to maintain, which means a 166 probably doesn't look much different than a 165, whereas it looks significantly different than a 167. As is, you don't "give" them anything - admitting you pulls down both GPA and LSAT numbers for the school (and you are even below Cornell's 25th gpa). If you think there is any room for improvement (and even if you don't - there is!) then retaking is a necessity. It may mean you wait a year to go to law school, but why the rush? Trust me, there isn't one!

WUSL i think you're in. i think you could get into cornell and Gtown (though if i had to venture a guess since both your gpa and lsat are below the medians with not very much scholly or any) and i think you're into GW with a decent amount of scholarship

I got a 166 and knew I could do better. Delayed an extra year and retook and got a 169. Now I'm in 4 T14s already, and $120k at GW. It's worth to retake. I had a 3.7x GPA tho.
