Hit me: 164, 2.79 for T20
In addition to stats above, URM male (AA and PR), military veteran. I can't retake due to my time table - December registration closed by the time I got my (late) LSAT scores from September, but I have to start school this coming year. Looking at schools in CA and TX specifically - already in at Florida State. I found exactly one applicant in the last five years on MyLSN with my stats, so I'm almost flying blind at this point.

I believe you will continue to fly blind! AA vet means all bets are off. If you want CA or TX, I guess I'd just apply to every school in CA and TX (except S). I really have no idea. I would guess your cycle will be really unpredictable, like in at UCLA, dinged at Irvine-level weird. hopefully someone else can help more than that. good luck!

I have no idea but like the poster above me, apply broadly. an AA with a 164 LSAT should get some love from schools right outside the T14, like Texas for example. Can't say for sure though. AA splitter cycles are notoriously unpredictable. best of luck and thank you for your service

Thanks for the feedback, it's good to at least know my cluelessness is not unfounded.

Good luck but I doubt you get a bite with the t20 or even t30 for that matter. That gpa hurts. A lot.

Thanks for the honest feedback, I figured that'd be the weakest part of my package. Do you think a GPA addendum would help? My understanding is that they're usually for periods of exceptionally bad performance in undergrad, but my issue was more that I wasn't at the level of maturity that I should've been at throughout. Keep in mind, this was all seven years ago.grades?? wrote:Good luck but I doubt you get a bite with the t20 or even t30 for that matter. That gpa hurts. A lot.

I mean honestly addendum or not they are gonna have to report that GPA. In this case it is a real killer. Anything under 3.0 is a huge red flag for even the decent law schools.richmar6575 wrote:Thanks for the honest feedback, I figured that'd be the weakest part of my package. Normally I would agree but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if a T20 or T30 school would want to scoop up this AA vet.grades?? wrote:I mean honestly addendum or not they are gonna have to report that GPA. Ideally OP should shoot for a higher LSAT on a retake.
