I'm not sure how friendly Columbia is to splitters, but I wouldn't advise ED. You should be applying for the AnBryce Scholarship at NYU, because the program is designed for people who are the first in their family to attend graduate school.SandorClegane wrote: First generation student
But don't ED Columbia, no matter what. It won't increase your chances very much, but it will kill any chances you have at decent scholarship money.

Is Columbia your dream school? If so and you are ok to pay $100,000 each year, then go ahead and you may get an answer before the New Year. If not, then think twice.
