ED Georgetown?
LSAT 167 GPA 3.45. Really want to go to a T14, UT Austin or UCLA. Also chances at USC? I am worried about my GPA.

You should probably figure out where you would like to work first or what places you would might be interested in.yzhu72 wrote:haven't thought about it. Just want to go to school with good NJL ranking.PrezRand wrote:Seems like you want to work in Cali

What's an "NJL ranking"? This thread is the only reference I can find to that term.yzhu72 wrote:haven't thought about it. Just want to go to school with good NJL ranking.PrezRand wrote:Seems like you want to work in Cali
And yes, you need to consider where you want to work and what kind of work you want to do. Those are mandatory questions you need to ask yourself before applying to law school.

Dude, what's your plan when you get a binding acceptance to GULC--at sticker?
How do you plan to service $300K in debt?
Because, with your numbers, that's basically what you're signing up for. Also, NJL rankings?? I'm a huge TLS nerd and I haven't heard of these things. Which says to me you're reading some weird, out-there stuff and probably haven't done enough research to be making life-altering decisions like "let's ED to XXXX and roll those dice".
Recommend you start reading these fora like your financial life depends on it--because it does. So, to put a nice bow on it, I wouldn't ED to GULC given your sitaution.

I think they mean national law journal...Looks like their ranking system puts Y at 17. So, definitely something to consider!
