3.79/167 to UM/NU?

Post by grtbooks91 » Sun Sep 04, 2016 8:56 pm

GPA of 3.79, first and only take score of 167 (now several years old).
I've had 3 years work experience in higher ed fundraising since graduating.

Complicating factor here is that I was enrolled at a T25 for a year right after college before running into some health issues and withdrawing. Ended up with a semester of 3.76 1L grades and I'm working with that old school to make sure I'm in good standing and can reapply elsewhere now.

Am I wrong in assuming that my numbers are a bit more competitive now than they were when I applied before (2011)? I was WL at Michigan coming out of UG (I do have Michigan residency) but it seems like everyone's medians have gone downhill since I was last looking. Do I have a chance at $$$ at Michigan or NU? Lower T14?

Thanks!

Point of clarification: When did you actually take your LSAT? Because that score is only good for five years.

Sorry, should have clarified - I took in October 2011?

Part of me thinks I may wait and retake (and hopefully increase the score), but my understanding is that it would still be good for this cycle if I wanted to apply now, anyone know if that's correct?
