if you get a 168, you'll get BIG money at WUSTL, do NOT apply ED.

Well, if OP really wants to go to WUSTL, that's hardly a reason to not ED, since WashU does full rides for everyone admitted ED.proteinshake wrote:if you get a 168, you'll get BIG money at WUSTL, do NOT apply ED.
On the other hand, it sounds like OP would like to try for Michigan, and since 168 is their median, that would be doable. And if they were able to really focus on the next few weeks of prep and boost their score to 170+, Northwestern ED would start to be in the cards.

What kind of work do you want to do on the East Coast?
WashU is definitely going to position you better for the Midwest. But now it seems weird that you're limiting yourself to these two choices if you want to work on the East Coast. What are your specific career goals?

You are basically guaranteed a full ride from WUSTL with your numbers, so don't apply ED. I would be shocked if you didn't get a Dean's Fellowship from WUSTL, and if you don't, you will still get big money. So apply RD, apply to Michigan, NU, and whichever other schools you're looking into, then come back here with your options.
Also, I wouldn't bank on east coast from WUSTL without top 25%ish grades. East coast is definitely doable from WUSTL, and from what I gather we're doing better and better on the east coast every year, but it will take some success 1L which doesn't come easily.

Kill the LSAT. This is all a pointless exercise until you have that score. Good luck!

Yeah, at this point you don't have numbers, just guesses.
Once you do have an LSAT score, though, you should be applying to a much broader range of schools than Michigan or WUSTL. There are other schools that do well with NY placement (Cornell, Duke, etc.) that you shouldn't be ignoring.
