Re: 3.77/162, AA Female
According to the data on MyLSN, a URM applicant with your stats has a not-so-great (<40% chance) of getting into UT Austin. However, the catch is that MyLSN's data (at least for UT Austin over the last five years with your numbers) apparently includes no AA applicants, just other kinds of URM. So I have no idea if that would alter your chances significantly.
Of course, you know the one thing you can do to easily secure your admission and get more money at schools, even though you've said that you will not do it, Sam I Am.

Take a look at the results of the URMs in this thread and compare their numbers to yours. Specifically AA females. Mylsn probably doesn't have info on AA females with your numbers attending UT because many, if not all, AA females with your numbers go to a higher ranked school. I think you could snag many if not most t14s with your numbers, if you apply early, have a strong app, etc etc. You probably have a good shot at UT where you're at now too with good scholarship.caitlinrw wrote:Hey guys, just wanted to know what y'all think my chances are of getting accepted to UT-Austin. I have a 3.77 LSDAS GPA, and a 162 LSAT (will not be retaking), and am an AA Female. I'm looking to stay in Florida, but Texas has always been on my list of potential places to live and practice law. Hope someone can help!
