Re: Early decision to uva?
Northwestern comes with 150k and they're not giving it to 165s. But honestly no one can help you till you have a real score. If you actually get a 165 you should retake till you poke 170 and get money. I don't think you're thinking through how shitty 300k of debt is, when a few multiple choice questions can make this free with your gpa.

You'd probably have a decent chance at ED UVA, but as the poster before me said, you'd almost certainly be paying sticker or close to it. That's 300k debt. If you get a 167 or lower, definitely retake. With your GPA, a 168 will get you very good money at the lower T-14, and likely an acceptance to Penn and NYU (and everything on down), I'd say. For reference, I had a 3.85 and a 169 and got 100k to Michigan. Once you crack the lower T-14, debt will become your single most important consideration, unless your parents are so rich that they won't mind paying for it (although even in this case, you should really just retake the test and have your parents buy you a rari or a house with the money you saved them).
Edit: For perspective, UVA's current estimated COA for ONE year is roughly $82,500. Assuming a 3.5% increase in COA year-over-year, you're looking at 306k debt at repayment. If you want to pay off your 306k debt in 10 years, you'll be looking at a monthly payment of roughly $3700. On a 25 year timeline, you'll still have to pay $2,300 MONTHLY until you are 50. Think about that for a second and retake the fucking LSAT!
TL;DR: Retake.

Stopping by solely to agree with what the other posters have already said. If you're able to get your LSAT into the 170s you're looking at big money in the t14. You'd be a prime candidate for Northwestern's ED scholarship with a high LSAT. Would you work one year right now for 100k? Because that's how much money you're looking at saving by taking a year off to retake the test.
