So, I'm a splitter (3.0/175) and I'm graduating this Spring.

I'm taking a year before law school, so I'll be applying this Fall. However, I'm not sure what to do during this one year. I have a job lined up in politics, however it's not paying me much money. My other option is to waitress for a year, where I'll make more than enough money to pay for everything I need. In any other situation, this would be a no-brainer. However, in regards to law school (particularly NU because the school values WE), is there any preference on the type of WE you do?

Like I said I'm a splitter, so I'm just trying to address all of the other factors besides numbers that contribute to law school admission.

Any sort of advice on what I can do will be helpful.

If you're set on law school I'd prob go with the political thing unless you will be literally starving and homeless. It at least gives you something substantial to talk about at OCI.

u dont need a part time job to study for the GRE lol
