Opinions on Schools 3.91 gpa, 160 lsat Forum

So Ive been accepted into...
Iowa, In-State, no scholarship
WUSTL, 66k
Indiana- 105k
OSU- FULL
I'm struggling to make a decision between schools, WUSTL is the best school but expensive as hell.. Federal loans make OSU seem really tempting. Is a T20 truly worth the extra cash?
Should I wait a cycle and retake the LSAT? What could I do without feeling worthless for a year?
I want to stay in the midwest for my J.D.

If you're wanting to stay in the Midwest for LS, I would think your best option would be to retake and shoot for Michigan. WUSTL at that price seems terrible.

Literally anything will be better than jumping the gun and going to school now. Those schools may not get you the job you want/would be happy with, and even if they do, they are too expensive.

Honestly, with a 3.91 GPA you should definitely retake the LSAT to get some good money from schools.

I have an arts and science background so I am hoping intellectual property possibly ending up in art/museum/patent law

What does art/museum/patent law mean to you? Who will be paying you once you're a lawyer?

Absolutely retake.

But I will comment that patent law is pretty much a no-go unless you have a STEM degree, and that "art law" and "museum law" are non-existent fields. You should do some serious research about what you want to do out of law school.
