I know the standard answer is to retake in June, but any chance?

What is the purpose of getting this degree? If you want to work as a lawyer in the US, and you will be needing a work visa, you got some serious work to do.

I got my LLM and found it far from enough, and even in China they prefer to JDs now.Hand wrote:What is the purpose of getting this degree? If you want to work as a lawyer in the US, and you will be needing a work visa, you got some serious work to do.

Will employers in China be interested in hiring someone with a JD from a school like Illinois? Or are they only interested in people with degrees from more prestigious schools? Honest question.Shuli2013 wrote:I got my LLM and found it far from enough, and even in China they prefer to JDs now.Hand wrote:What is the purpose of getting this degree? In fact I am confused. If I cannot overcome LSAT, how can I expect of myself to study hard to get a transfer chance?

the answer is yes. employers in china prefer anything foreign. schools in the us with regional fame is good, those with national and international reputation are unbeatable.Hand wrote:Will employers in China be interested in hiring someone with a JD from a school like Illinois?
