Took Lsat two years ago. Not sure if I should go to law school or become a lawyer, but really want to get top gear education and study law
Planning on working as a lawyer for 1-2 years before doing entrepreneur.
1) international students, Asian. is that considered URM? or it's actually a disadvantage since English is not my first language
2) lots of experience in film/entertainment, but no experience with law at all
3) have a full-time job right now and don't have much time to study for LSAT. also not sure if I could score higher. 163 felt like a bottleneck for me before.
4) would be 25 already if I apply for next cycle. Will that be too late/old?
5) already applied GWU, UCLA and USC. not sure if a school other than T14 will work if I am only planning to work on an international level. and what will be my chances for getting into T14 like G-town, Northwestern, or even UPenn or Berkeley? Luckily, money is the thing I am least concerned about.
6) how much does location matter? since i went to college in big city, i truly do not want to see myself ending up in a small town, even it's T14.
7) How different will be BC BU Emory Notre Dame UT WUSTL Vandy from T14?
Thanks!

You will very likely not get into any t14 school with your numbers. Schools outside of the t14 won't give you any chance of doing the work you want to do and honestly schools within the t14 won't either. The only ones that give you a shot--and a teeny one at that--are HYS.
Don't go to law school unless you are sure you want to be a lawyer.
International isn't urm

How will going to law school/becoming an attorney help you with your long term goals? 5 years is a long time to invest in an industry that you plan on leaving. If you are just looking to acquire knowledge, there may be an easier route.
You are not too old for law school. The average age for a 1L is around 24.
Go to lawschoolnumbers.com to see how you compare with others. People are getting into T14s with lower numbers. People are also getting rejected with higher numbers.

What kind of business are you wanting to start? Why not start it now? How little of a concern is money/debt to you?
