hey tls, finally done with taking the LSATs, wondering if i'm in a good spot to apply in the fall (and if i should do anything else to boost my chances before i apply, other than writing good statements / getting good recs. any advice here would be especially helpful).
aiming for top 10 LS (S or B especially, but i'm sure S is a super long shot).
any insight is much appreciated!
Stats:
LSAC GPA: 3.6. Top 5 UG (for what it's worth)
LSAT: 167 -> 172 -> 170
worked at a prestigious litigation consulting firm for the last couple years. leadership positions on a few committees, leadership experience on case teams.
president of debate society in college, successful competitive career, organized a few major events and successful recruiting drives.

I have close to the same stats as you, though your softs are a bit better. So far this cycle I've gotten into Berkeley, NYU, Duke, UCLA, and Georgetown. Hope that helps!dasanilover wrote:hey tls, finally done with taking the LSATs, wondering if i'm in a good spot to apply in the fall (and if i should do anything else to boost my chances before i apply, other than writing good statements / getting good recs. any advice here would be especially helpful).

Same GPA but 170 LSAT here. I'm in at Michigan and Duke, WL'd at Chicago and Penn. I've heard that the GPA is going to pull you down (unfortunately). I would bet money that you'll get into a top 10 with money, probably Berkeley if you want it. Stanford is a stretch.
