Can I get into a T-14?
I am really worried about retaking the exam? i have not improved tremendously in my practice. I scored a 160 on my LSAT, however i have 3.95 GPA. Should I not re-take it? Should I in a year, when I feel more prepared? Or do I just apply now with what I have? Please, help me

It would be a very poor idea to apply now. Focus on retaking the LSAT and getting a score that does your GPA justice. There is a lot of advice and a lot of materials in the LSAT forum on this website.

Don't apply now. Wait a cycle, perhaps more. Law school will always be there. In the meantime, get a decent job that isn't too stressful, build some savings for when you do go to law school, reformulate a plan to achieve a score of 170 or higher on the LSAT, enjoy life, and travel. Then enjoy HYS or lower T-14 with a full ride once you get a 170+. Do not waste this GPA by applying with a 160 LSAT.

you know your gpa is higher than Yale's median right?
just retake. don't worry about.
Looking back, I think taking LSAT is a much easier task than taking law school exams - at least LSAT is 100% multiple choices and there are patterns to follow and you have 70 PTs to use.
T-14 is not a guarantee of success. You must maintain your GPA at certain level to make it out safe and SOUND. So if you can't handle LSAT you probably aren't going to do well in T14, just my opinion.
So suck it up and retake.
YOU CAN DO THIS.

This. Getting into a lower T-14 and paying sticker is not a good outcome.kobe1020 wrote:T-14 is not a guarantee of success. You must maintain your GPA at certain level to make it out safe and SOUND. So if you can't handle LSAT you probably aren't going to do well in T14, just my opinion.

In my opinion, getting a decent LSAT score is much easier than getting a 3.96 GPA in college. And it's one of the most rewarding things in adult life. As long as you work hard, you'll see results.
When I studied for the test, I kept reminding myself, if I raise my LSAT from 160 to 175 by studying 300 hrs, some schools would give me huge scholarship, something from 60k-210k. That's literally someone paying me several hundred bucks per hour to study.

That seems to be lost on a great many people. So much at stake not to maximize your potential.PrayFor170 wrote:In my opinion, getting a decent LSAT score is much easier than getting a 3.96 GPA in college. Maybe. But why would you want to?
