161/3.55 GPA

Post by katielaw1 » Mon Nov 02, 2015 12:38 pm

Hi friends!

I have a 161 October LSAT, a 3.55 LSDAS GPA.
What are my chances at some of the following schools?

- George Washington
- Fordham
- Boston University

Thanks for your help! Sending warmth and well wishes to all of you if you're anywhere near as stressed as I am!

While being LGBT will give you good material for an interesting diversity statement or personal statement, it does not qualify you as a URM for law school admission purposes. URM boosts are only given for race, and only for Mexican-Americans, Puerto Ricans, African-Americans, and Native Americans.

Now that I reread your op, it seems as if you are saying you are both LGBT and a URM? Is that correct? (I'm asking because advice will differ based on whether you are a URM or not).

Check out www.mylsn.info for chances

I think you edited out the only info that was potentially helpful for people to answer your question.

I would definitely focus on a retake, it's unlikely that any of those schools would be at an appropriate cost.
